The Calgary Design Group (CDG) is a group of interior designers, decorators and stagers with a mandate to improve our clients’ experiences in the area of home design. The CDG members work together by providing each other with support, expertise, and resource ideas.
The Calgary Design group would like to thank all the supporters of Christmas All Throughout The House. This successful event that took place November 18 - 22, 2009.
This was the première of an annual fund raising Christmas event. Lougheed House, in partnership with the CDG, transformed individual rooms into magnificent recreations of Christmas through the decades. Guests were fascinated by the history of Lougheed House; marvelled at the unique and breathtaking Christmas designs, and rejoiced in numerous other magical Christmas activities.
All funds raised go towards the restoration and development of this National Historic Site. Your support means that the Lougheed House can enhance public programs and exhibits, and continue our curriculum based School Programs for children grades one through six.

For the 2008 holiday season, the CDG supported Kids Help Phone by participating in their annual "Homes for the Holidays" fund-raising campaign. Members of the CDG showcased their talents by decorating the historic Lougheed House, the starting point for the holiday home tour, in seasonal decor.
